Sorry, I have no idea what the date is!!!!!
Today is our last day here in Changsha,Hunan. We are flying out tomorrow morning to Guangzhou to the White Swan. We are excited to get there. Not just because we have heard it is a great place but that is our last stop and we're that much closer to home!!!!
Our hotel here has been wonderful. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The beds are even comfortable, without our mattress pad! The food is good here also, a little on the spicy side but Jeff is loving it. We have not however tried the steamed bull frog or pigs blood soup w/bean curd. Who knows, maybe tomorrow for breakfast???
We have ventured out quite a bit w/Claire and have been the center of attention wherever we go. We went out this morning for a walk and next door was a military band and dancers. We stopped for a while to listen and had probably 20-30 cameras on us. Everyone was taking our picture and not the band! It was very strange but they were truly happy to see us w/Claire.
We went to an academy here yesterday w/the other family and our guide. We had a couple of older men stop us and told us (thru our guide) that we were very kind to adopt her and we were always welcome in China. That made us very happy to hear that.
Claire is doing wonderful! She is a very happy and good baby! She still prefers mommy but is slowly warming up to daddy. Jeff took her the playroom last night for a couple of hours and they had a wonderful time playing. She was laughing at him and playing toys w/him. That made his day. She loves to get kisses from daddy, she leans over for him to kiss her forehead when I'm holding her. Before we know it she will be a daddy's girl. She already has him wrapped around her finger!
Please keep the comments coming, they are not showing up here but are getting forwarded to our email. It is so good to hear from people back home. We miss everyone terribly, especially our boys. Please give them hugs and kisses for us if you see them! We will post pics soon, when I can turn the lights on (Claire is napping right now!)

So glad to hear things are going so smooth! She is an absolutely beautiful little girl. Can't wait to see and feel those cheecks for myself.
Also can't wait to smother your boys in hugs and kisses Sunday at Church... I'm sure they will love that... OK maybe not. But it will be fun to see Cameron blush.
Take care and enjoy your time alone with Claire. It is a precious time with her in her own country. Soak it all up.

Jeff and Mindy, We are so excited for you and we know that feeling of finally getting to Guangzhou! Hooray for you! Can't wait to get you home so we can kiss that little girl. I wonder what your boys would do if I stopped just to hug and kiss them?! When you are in Guangzhou if you have enough would you please get me an orange polo shirt from Lucy's Diner. I am so glad that you are all getting along so well. Sounds like she is adjusting well as are you. God knew right where she belonged!!Praying you have a safe trip the rest on the next leg of your trip and we all cannot wait to meet her.
